Hurricane Relief Meal Plan
This plan has been created to help the families that have been affected by our recent string of hurricanes that have hit Texas and Florida. Thanks to the advice of families and friends who have been displaced, we are able to offer this plan for free for those that have experienced water damage in their homes and will have to spend the next 6+ months living in modified circumstances while their homes are repaired.
We are intending this plan to be for folks who will have access to a mini fridge and a crockpot, plus of course a cutting board and simple tools like a food processor and blender. These plans are simple and easy to prepare and only require a bit of prep work. All ingredients can be prepared in advance and frozen in plastic bags until ready to use. When ready to cook, simply follow the easy instructions and add the contents of the bags to a crock pot or instant pot. These menu items can offer healthy, nourishing meals to those who would otherwise not have access to consistent, nutritious food choices during this time.
Use this plan at any store!
Here’s the link to the Menu and Recipes. Follow the shopping list below and remember to buy pre-cut ingredients when possible to save time and clean up.
We are thinking of all of you who are struggling in the wake of these natural disasters and we hope you reach out with any questions, suggestions or comments of any kind.
With hope,
The Vie Team
