Is Vie a not for profit company?

No, but we do have a strong philanthropic presence through the support of our Full Share Program, designed to engage local low-income families in healthy eating and cooking habits.

What is Vie’s target market?

After months of customer interaction and research, it has become clear that our primary target market is made up of parents with children aged infant-teenager.  The service is designed for busy people (aged 18-65) who still wish to eat healthy food and cook simple meals.

We do also see subscribers from the college-aged, post-graduate and couples without children categories.

What is your Social Media Presence?

We are very active on Facebook (@getvie) and Instagram (@viemealplans) with fun, educational posts and bi-weekly video tutorials.

What is your current subscriber base?

We currently have over 400 happy subscribers and growing everyday!

FAQ’s by our subscribers

Do I have access to all stores’ meal plans each week?

Yes you do!  You are free to choose from our 7 different plans each week.  You can stick with your favorite store or give a new one a try.

How long do plans last?

Plans are up for a week but old plans can be accessed in our Past Meal Plans archives.

When do new plans get published?

We currently receive the weekly specials (sales) for each store we represent on Wednesdays, so we work hard to write up plans and publish on Fridays, however we often publish plans sooner as time allows.

Sales end the following Tuesdays at midnight, however our plans will serve you with enough food for a week, so you can continue to follow your plan until our next plan is published on Friday.

What does each plan include?

Each plan features 4 Mains, 2 Sides and a Soup.

Included in each plan are detailed, easy to follow recipes, shopping lists by department and a pantry staples list.

How much should I plan to spend per week?

Our subscribers are spending on average between $100-$250/week for a family of 4-6 using our meal plans.

Keep in mind that everyone’s money spent vs. saved will vary depending on family size, plan used and items needed.

Do your plans include toiletries, alcohol and pet/child needs?

No, we don’t.  Go to Costco for that!

Do you offer special plans?

Yes, we do.  We currently offer a weekly Special Diets meal plan for those who have special dietary restrictions and food allergies.
